Frustrated Sparkster investors are forming together in readying an action lawsuit against the project.

A telegram group was being advertised via various channels yesterday and has already reached over a thousand members. What’s interesting about this group and lawsuit is that the influential crypto personality- Ian Ballina- himself is involved.

This is somewhat strange as Ian Ballina was classed as an official adviser by Sparkster during their initial ICO in which they raised $30 million. He was widely speculated to have been paid in tokens by Sparkster, but this has never been confirmed by Ballina.

There is also further confusion as to Ballina’s involvement as Sparkster was classed as a ‘Hall of Fame’ ICO on Ballina’s infamous ranking spreadsheet; giving the project a 5 star rating/90%.

When questioned by members of the community, Ballina replied simply, “not financial advice.”

In the official lawsuit telegram group, Ballina shared his thoughts on the situation:

“I have tried to offer my opinion to Sparkster to help avoid this situation, but they have not listened and are neglecting their community. If they had told people tokens would be locked for almost a year, no one, myself included, would have invested. The community takes precedence over anything else. I will be helping @CryptoArnie in the group with whatever remedy the community seeks. Let’s keep things civil as we strategize next steps.”

Sparkster has been the brunt of investor’s anger for a long period now. Despite completing their ICO back in July 2018, the team has yet to release any tokens- they commonly cite ‘adverse market condition’ for their reason for not doing so.

This has resulted in various scam accusations via official Sparkster channels, with opinions often being banned from such groups. It’s been estimated that over a thousand individuals have been banned from Sparkster’s media platforms for stating their opinion- can be considered a red flag in any situation.

Several prominent crypto influencers are in agreement with the lawsuit, one such being OhHeyMatty, who via his TG stated:

“I was one of the first content creators to call sparkster what is was a centralized database that was over priced and not worth it. I also highlighted they cancelled their AMA because they were not going to be interviewed by anyone who was not “invested” in their vision. Which meant anyone who was not going to shill them. Shortly after this time not only did their CEO slander me to his community and condone his followers to personally attack me in my own chatroom but they also tred claiming my dislike of the project was based on racism. For weeks i tried to warn the community about the leadership issues and tech flaws while every other person in the community fomoed in. I guess its true what they say Karmas, a bitch. Whatever help Crypto Arnie and the other freedom fighters need at this sensitive time I am here to lend.”

Investors who are seeking legal action against Sparkster can join via this telegram group. Upon entering they will be asked to fill out to voluntarily fill out two forms.
